Details:
This En Plein Air event will begin at the Millikin
Homestead at 11 AM October 5 with a Demonstration by Artist Jessica Disbrow.
The details for the contest will be handed out and questions answered at that
time.
Contestants can choose any media for painting the
landmarks. You will have all week to complete your work. Pictures need to be
able to be hung. They will be submitted October12 at the Madden Art Center on
the 3rd floor at 11 AM. Judging will take place at that time.
Prizes:
1st--$100; 2nd--$75; 3rd--$50
Future Event:
All contestants are invited to display their work at
Millikin Homestead on Feb 23, 2025. They should be accompanied with an easel
for display. A poetry reading will be given followed by an artist who will
describe the contest event. This event will be open to the general public.
