Are you interested in art?
· Members are both beginners and experienced.
Ages: 18 and older.
· Sessions
begin
the last of September and continue through May. There are 30 plus sessions. They are held weekly on Wednesdays from 3-5
PM.
· Location is at
the Madden Art Center (Decatur Area Arts Council), 125 North Water St. 2nd
floor.
· Topics
covered include watercolor, drawing, acrylic, oil, pastel, oil pastel, collage,
sculpturing and art history.
Opportunities:
· to display & sell work at Arts
in Central Park in September
· to exhibit work at library, airport,
& Rock Springs
· to participate in the Annual Spring
Show in Anne Lloyd Gallery/Madden Arts Center
· to paint plein air (outdoors) in a
Barn Colony workshop
· to enjoy a
picnic held at one of the member’s home
· to go on field trips to other art
centers or studios.
· to participate in a Millikin
Homestead event.

The cost of
annual membership dues is $85 (less than $3/session) for individuals and $120
for a family of 2 persons.
